Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Attends the Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges in Iraq

Prof. Dr. Imad Kadhim Yasser, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences / University of Shatrah, attended the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in Iraq, held on the sidelines of the Third International Scientific Conference entitled “Sports Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Visions and Applications” from 27 – 28 August 2025 at the University of Diyala / College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.

The meeting discussed a range of scientific and practical issues related to the specialisation, including mechanisms for implementing the recommendations of the minutes of the ministerial committee meeting on updating and developing scientific curricula, giving an opinion on the possibility of including the principles and values of transparency and integrity within the content of professional ethics, as well as discussing proposals to change the study system and apply the Bologna system, reviewing the admission form for undergraduate students, and discussing the establishment of specialised branches.

This meeting comes within the framework of the diligent efforts to develop the educational process and strengthen the standing of colleges of physical education and sport sciences in a way that keeps pace with contemporary developments and responds to the requirements of the current stage.
