The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Shatrah held the first session of the College Council for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabil Mahdi Abd, Dean of the College.
The Dean opened the session by welcoming the members of the Council and wishing them a fruitful academic year full of success and achievement.
The session included discussion of a number of important topics, most notably:
• Stressing commitment to lectures and class timetables.
• Organising workshops and seminars related to the guidance programme for the new academic year.
• Following up the work of the committees within the (SIS) system and submitting reports on the progress of work.
• Approving the second-attempt results of undergraduate and postgraduate (master's) studies.
• Discussing the distribution of courses among the teaching staff according to the prescribed hours.
• Completing the requirements for issuing university orders for master's students who have defended their theses
