Victory Day
On the tenth of December every year, we stand with great pride to remember one of the most splendid pages of the modern history of Iraq: the day written by the sons of the nation with heroism and steadfastness, on which they proved that the will of the Iraqi is stronger than every challenge, and that the land is protected only by those who redeem it with their souls and blood.
This immortal day is not merely a memory; it is a symbol of national unity and a message of hope passed down through the generations that victory is born of perseverance and that sacrifice is the path to a safer and more dignified future. On this occasion we proudly recall the souls of the righteous martyrs, and we salute the wounded and the fighters of the Defence and Interior forces and the Popular Mobilisation Forces, and everyone who contributed to making this great Iraqi glory.
We ask God to protect our dear country, to preserve for it the blessing of security and peace, and to inspire its sons with ever more strength and dedication to serve the nation and raise it high.
May our Iraq continue every year to forge the paths of victory with the resolve of its people and the pride of its banner.
