College of Education for Girls Organises a Training Workshop on Using the Examination Committee Application as Part of the Digital Transformation
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah,
and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf,
Dean of the College of Education for Girls,
the College of Education for Girls – University of Shatrah organised, on Sunday, 28/12/2025, in the College hall, a training workshop entitled:
(The Mechanism for Using the Examination Committee Application)
presented by Prof. Dr. Hadeel Tariq, a faculty member in the Department of Kindergarten and the official in charge of the Student Information System (SIS) at the College, in the presence of the chairs and members of the examination committees.
The workshop aimed to familiarise participants with how to use the Examination Committee Application, one of the applications of the Higher Education Platform, and its role in organising and processing examination data electronically, in line with the requirements of the digital transformation adopted in university institutions.
The workshop included a practical explanation of the steps for entering and processing the students' examination data (the master sheet), the mechanism for converting it from the traditional format into an Excel file ready for migration, and then exporting it to the Student Information System (SIS) programme, contributing to simplifying examination procedures, reducing errors and speeding up the completion of work.
At the end of the workshop, participants had acquired practical skills that qualify them to deal efficiently with the application, which will be reflected positively in the organisation of examination work and in supporting automation and digital transformation within the College.
This workshop is part of the series of training activities that the College of Education for Girls is keen to organise, in support of institutional development efforts and to enhance the competence of administrative and teaching staff in keeping pace with modern electronic systems.
