As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, the College of Veterinary Medicine held a scientific hackathon entitled (The University Creativity and Scientific Innovation Hackathon) on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, under the supervision of the supervising committee comprising Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhurgham Ali Hassan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabab Shakir Salman and Asst. Prof. Dr. Amer Maktouf Abd.

The hackathon included the presentation of entrepreneurial ideas and innovative projects by the college's students and their applied scientific experiments, which reflected the level of their research skills, as well as highlighting scientific ideas that contribute to developing the fields of veterinary medicine and serving the community.

The exhibition aims to encourage students to innovate and to develop their abilities in scientific research and teamwork, in addition to providing a stimulating environment for presenting scientific projects and exchanging experience between students and teaching staff, in line with the university's orientation towards supporting scientific and research activities and developing young talents.
